Younger students in the Sacramento City Unified School District could return to in-person learning by April, according to the district’s reopening plan.The district says it has a phased-in reopening approach. District leaders say students would be grouped in cohorts and have two options.Families would be able to continue distance learning, or students would attend school in-person two days a week and attend distance learning three days a week.The district adds that it’s working to have those in Pre-K through third grade return to class beginning April 8.Those in Special Day Classes in kindergarten through sixth grade could also return that day.Fourth through sixth graders would begin to go back April 15.If Sacramento County is in the red tier, seventh through twelfth grades…
