A winter storm set to drop as much as 8 inches of snow on New Jersey is likely to crank up early Thursday and continue until well into Friday morning, according to the latest updates from the National Weather Service and AccuWeather.
For much of the state, precipitation might fall as a wintry mix of sleet and snow or even plain rain for the majority of a storm that won’t push out until Friday morning.
Light snow could begin falling as early as 4 a.m. Thursday in deep South Jersey, though the main event will get going a couple hours later, according to National Weather Service general forecaster Nick Carr.
