FBI release photos of suspect in crushing of D.C. police officer during riot
Photos of a suspect in the alleged assault on police officer Daniel Hodges on January 6 have been released by Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI.
Detectives have published two photos of the man they say was involved in the attack on Hodges, who was seen on video being crushed in a doorway during the Capitol riot.
“During the insurrection at the United States Capitol, the suspect assaulted and used a clear police shield to pin MPD Officer Daniel Hodges in a door jam,” police said in a statement on Friday.
The man has longish hair and is wearing glasses in the two photos. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.
