The winter storm isn’t over yet, but the rest of the week should bring better conditions.
PHOENIX – – Two winter storms in northern Arizona over the next five days are expected to drop a total of 19 to 29 inches of snow in the Flagstaff area.
One storm from Friday to Sunday is expected to bring moderate snowfall to the area, while the second storm from Monday to Tuesday evening is expected to bring even more snow.
The National Weather Service said the Flagstaff area is expected to see 7 to 11 inches of snow in the first storm and an additional 12 to 18 inches of snow in the second storm. Payson is expected to receive 15 to 21 inches of snow in the second storm.
