Utah Governor Spencer Cox signs law that allows concealed carry without permission

Utah Governor Spencer Cox redeemed an election promise on Friday and signed a bill that would allow people over the age of 21 to own one Firearm the right to carry undercover without permission.

Utah House bill 60The law, introduced by Rep. Walt Brooks, was passed by the Senate earlier this week, paving the way for the governor to amend existing statutes.

The law will go into effect in May, making Utah the 18th state according to the governor.
