Trump urges Mitch McConnell to be discouraged
Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday carried out a violent assault on the most powerful Republican in post-Trump Washington, calling Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell a “non-smiling political hack” to be thrown out of office.
“The Republican Party can never be respected or strong again with political” leaders “like Senator Mitch McConnell at the top,” Trump said in a 626-word statement emailed almost denying the Kentucky Republican declared political war.
