The Georgian Foreign Minister is holding back support for “reactionary” GOP voting laws
Secretary of State of Georgia Brad Raffensperger (R) withholds support for numerous votes the Republican legislature tabled in the past few weeks as its office reviews the legislation.
“As soon as we see something that gives priority to the security and accessibility of elections, we will provide support,” Raffensperger tweeted on Wednesday. He added that many of the bills that would directly affect the state elections were “reactionary to a three-month disinformation campaign” that he could have prevented.
We check invoices. As soon as we see something that gives priority to the security and accessibility of elections, we will bring in support. Ultimately, many of these bills respond to a three month disinformation campaign that could have been prevented.
