Psaki: The Biden White House will publish visitor logs
The White House will resume publishing its visitor logs as soon as President-elect Joe Biden takes office, Biden interim spokesman Jen Psaki announced on Friday.
The move is a relocation from President Donald Trump’s White House, where visitor logs to the main White House offices, including the west wing, were privately kept. The Trump administration faced legal challenges for their position and settled a lawsuit in 2018 to enable monthly publication of visitor logs for some White House offices, including the Administration and Household Bureau and the Drug Czar’s Office.
