Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers promoted false election charges that fueled the Capitol uprising
Conspiracy theories about ballot counting in Pennsylvania seem to have made it the unfortunate zero point for much of the discord the country has seen since President Donald Trump lost the November election.
Rioters who supported Trump quoted false accusations on Pennsylvania election fraud – shared by some of the state’s Republican lawmakers, including Congressman Scott Perry and Senator Doug Mastriano – as a reason for “storm the capitol” on January 6th.
Now state houses are located across the country, including the one in Pennsylvania Prepare for further confrontations in the coming days.
