Ohio ‘incel’ accused of wanting to ‘slaughter’ women at Ohio University
A 21 year old male in Ohio, who described himself as “incel or involuntary celibacy” was charged on Wednesday with allegedly planning a mass “Butcher” of women at a university in Ohio, prosecutors said.
Fox 19 reports that Tres Genco is accused of conducting surveillance at an unnamed Ohio university on January 15, 2020, and on the same day he searched for “Planning a Gun Crime” and “When Does Crime Preparation Become an Attempt?”
The broadcaster pointed out that investigators say they uncovered a manifesto claiming he would kill “out of hatred, jealousy and revenge”. The New York Times reported that prosecutors said Genco was part of an online group of “Incels” that hold women responsible for refusing them sexual intercourse.
