An Ohio Department of Natural Resources official is remembered for his strong work ethic and passion for the job. Jason Lagore died of an apparent heart attack Tuesday night responding to a rescue at Rocky Point Lake in Highland County. “He has helped countless search and rescue operations, closed families, and found and helped people,” said Shaun Lentini, LaGore’s friend. On Tuesday night, LaGore was trying to help a teenager who fell in icy water. At around 6:30 p.m., a 13-year-old boy started yelling for help near a private dock.
