New York GOP district manager arrested for role in Capitol riot

A New York Republican district chief from Queens was arrested after photos and videos emerged of breaking into the Capitol during the January 6 riot.

Congregation District 24 official Philip Grillo was arrested Monday after it was confirmed he was in the Capitol and building during the January 6 riot. according to a Gothamist report.

Grillo dressed in his Knights of Columbus jacket as he walked through the Capitol Halls after entering through a broken window.

The 46-year-old was a vocal Trump supporter in his community and has called his district “Trump’s hometown district”. The Daily News reported.
