It is official. Governor Mike DeWine has given fans the go-ahead to return to the state’s sports arenas and other entertainment options. During his press conference on Thursday afternoon, the governor said that sports and entertainment venues can reopen this spring with capacity restrictions. This includes a maximum capacity of 25% indoors and a maximum capacity of 30% outdoors, provided the specified precautions are followed. These precautions include mandatory masks for spectators and staff. Spectator paths that enable social distancing; and seat capsules with no more than six people per capsule, separated by at least two meters. “This is a start,” said the governor. “If the situation improves in spring and summer, this could be expanded.”
