Governor Kim Reynolds had an interview on Fox News Sunday night talking about Iowa’s educational plans during the pandemic. “The vast majority of our school districts are open, and we’ve had kids in the classrooms since August. And we’ve done it safely and responsibly,” Reynolds said. “But some of our largest school districts turned it down, and our kids are paying the price.” Since the pandemic started, Reynolds has been vocal about keeping students in the classroom as opposed to hybrid and online-only learning options. “What I saw was a tremendous grassroots organization of parents and teachers and children and administrators that we had listening sessions with.
