Full text of Mitch McConnell’s email explaining why he would vote for Trump to be acquitted
Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell will vote for the acquittal of the former president Donald Trump, he revealed to colleagues in an email on Saturday before the Senators resumed their trial on Saturday over whether Trump was responsible for the violent mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.
