Florida vets remove shoe from hungry crocodile’s stomach

The 10.5-foot, 341-pound Nile crocodile named Anuket consumed the apparently tasty footwear in December when it fell off a zipper in the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, where the reptile is located. according to the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville.
Witnesses discovered that Anuket consumed the shoe, opened it again, and then swallowed it again, the college said.
“If the shoe fits you … will you swallow it?” said the school in a Facebook post. “Not a good idea!”
