CDC director Rochelle Walensky confirmed that their agency’s newly published guidelines state that schools can be “allowed in areas with the highest levels of community” to open again safely – at least in a hybrid way – without teachers being vaccinated first.

The CDC released new guidance last week highlighting “Layered Mitigation Strategies” to reduce COVID transmission.

“We advocate with the strict mitigation measures … including the universal and mandatory masking as well as the distance of two meters that at least our K-5 children can go back to school at least in hybrid mode,” said Walensky, “Fox News Sunday” refers to Model that combines personal and distance learning.
