Cape Town – A Cape Town man was sentenced in the Western Cape Superior Court on Thursday for his series of crimes perpetrated around the Silvermine Nature Reserve.
Blessing Bveni, 33, of Zimbabwe, faced 10 counts, including two counts of murder.
Between October 2017 and March 2018, he assaulted hikers, cyclists, and a woman and two children.
According to the spokesman for the National Tax Authority (NPA) Eric Ntabazalila, Bveni was sentenced to two life sentences plus 33 years.
