Zuma corruption trial: 10,000 supporters will not appear in court, spokesman says
With the probability that former president Jacob Zuma will not be in court this Tuesday, his supporters have resolved to direct their resources to a possible start in May of his trial for corruption.
“We are not mobilizing tomorrow [Tuesday] because there is a high possibility that he will not be in court… if he comes to court in May, we will do more of our mobilization in May, “Bishop Vusi Dube, the head of Zuma supporters, told News24 on Monday.
Zuma is not expected to appear in person after there were erroneous speculations that his trial would begin Tuesday after 15 years.
