Durban Woman Arrested for Alleged TERS R2.6m Fraud |  News 24

A woman has allegedly defrauded the TERS fund.

The Hawks in Durban arrested a 33-year-old woman for allegedly attempting to defraud the Temporary Employee Assistance Program (TERS) of more than R2.6 million since April 2020.

Nana Precious Mbuto appeared in the Durban Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday.

She was arrested Tuesday for allegedly falsely requesting TERS funds.
