What to do, then?
When countries lock down, they should now go all the way and try to eliminate the disease, argues business consultant Robert Greenhill, executive chairman of the Montreal organization Global Canada, dedicated to Canada’a impact on international affairs.
In an early November report, lead author Greenhill said that Canada should follow the lead of TANZANC jurisdictions (Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Atlantic & Northern Canada) which have shown that democracies, and not just authoritarian regimes like China, can achieve zero COVID transmissions. “TANZANC jurisdictions, total population 58 million, had 20 new COVID cases on October 30. Canada, population 38 million, had over 3,000.”
