Jacinda Ardern on course to win poll, remain PM
It’s odds on Labour will be the biggest party at the election and Jacinda Ardern will remain as PM.
But the opposition National Party insists they have a “path to victory”.

Labour came second in 2017 but because smaller parties have a big say due to the NZ voting system, she was able to cobble together a coalition and form government.
The Nationals’ Judith Collins wants to repeat the trick, despite the latest poll puting the party on just 31 per cent. The aim is to team up with the smaller ACT Party just as Labour did with New Zealand First in 2017.
