DNA results on human bone found at SA beach reveal who it belonged to

Human bones found at a beach south of Adelaide have been confirmed to be those belonging to a man who went missing last year.

The first bone, a forearm, was found by a man who was walking on Maslin Beach on February 16.

The second bone, a rib, was found nearby during a police search of the area.

Just a week later, on Thursday, police confirmed the first bone belong to Jesse Corigliano-Quealey, who was last seen in October 2020.

The 30-year-old, who was a local in the area, disappeared after dropping his car off at the mechanic’s.
